Every afternoon, children in our afterschool program walk from their school to our facility. But the path they take is not safe. Our neighborhood has at least six registered sex offenders between their school and our doors. Every day, our hearts ache knowing the danger they could face just trying to get to a place where they’re loved, protected, and supported.

We believe no child should have to risk their safety just to get to a safe space. That’s why we’re raising $30,000 to purchase a reliable van to pick up our students after school and bring them straight to our program. This van isn’t just transportation—it’s peace of mind for parents, a lifeline for children, and a shield against danger.

Our afterschool program is more than homework help. It’s a place where children are nurtured, encouraged, and given the tools to thrive. We provide mentorship, meals, and a safe space to dream bigger than their circumstances. But none of that matters if they can’t get to us safely.
